Just had to vent. The market is abysmal right now. My SVT has been for sale for over 6 weeks and I've had only a handful of calls. The car is priced fairly and is in amazing condition.
I looked for months before I found my car and felt lucky to have gotten it but it seems as though no one is interested in pre-owned right now due to 0% etc.
It isn't a matter of people looking and being disappointed, it is a matter of no one even looking!
Sorry for the rant, just frustrated with not being able to sell the car.

I hear that, I'm selling a 1988 Jetta, and its in really good condition, just needs clutch and i get like almost 3 calls a day, but the thing is, people call and set up a time to look at it, but I'd say 4 out of 5 times they dont show up... friggin annoying. And now i have some guy that said he's gonna buy it and he would call me tomorrow. That was Sunday. grrrr oh well, I'm trying to get my GF to buy an SVT, she loves my car and has an 04 Altima thats getting too expensive, how much are you offering?

Well if its any consolation, which I doubt it is, my brother considered buying it but he ended up finding a '99 A4 for 10k so he jumped on that. Your svt is really nice though

I wouldn't say its the market...I'd say its the car you have more than anything.
How many people even know what a Contour SVT is? Not many so you're not gonna have a lot of people in a hurry to buy one.
I think thats the problem personally...if I could afford an SVT though I'd be all over one.

It is definitely an ugly market. Took my buddy 3 months to sell a Jeep TJ with all the goodies. A Jeep, they used to sell like wildfire in AZ. The last three I sold took only one week in the trader. His price was right and the truck was perfectly set up. People are too tempted by 0% financing. Here are a few pics of my ride just for fun:

Don't let that stop you!
Even if you financed the whole amount it would only cost you about $230 / month. You can scrape up $230 a month!
