Trying to find the SVT front for the pre 98 'tour. I am new to the site, wading through all of the forums seems impossible. Not too 'puter savvy. Any info would be greatly appeciated.

There are no SVT's with Pre-98 fronts made by large businesses, or available from Ford. However, there are a couple of Tours with SVT-like front bumpers. Here's an example This long ass thread gives more info. I don't know if the group buy is still on or not.... Welcome to CEG

Thanks, man. I will email the lead guy in that thread and hope it pans out. The extreme dimensions front end is ok, but I want something a little more subtle.

Micah is not going to make anymore front bumpers. He has been burned twice in group buys and will not do it again. You are SOL unless you can find someone selling thiers or you have a company molded the 2 together(big bucks). I got mine from the first group buy.

I thought you wanted the svt front bumper? That is the svt front.
EDIT: ok, perhaps im confused...are you saying that svt front bumper is extreme in its dimensions or is there actually a kit called "extreme dimensions"?

Sorry for the confusion. I meant the "survivor" front end by the company, Extreme Dimensions. www.extremedimensions.com I would rather just have a SVT look on the front of my car.

gotcha! thats the one i figured you were talking about, but its been called so many names by different companys its hard to keep track. IMO the svt front fascia looks much better!

I agree, but the survivor one is not bad, and in MI. it would be much more unique. I myself like the SVT look better, and since I plan to go with an SVT rear (if it fits!) and a post 98 deck lid, I think it is the better choice. Micah emailed me back and is still in business, he gave me a price of $450 shipped to my door, the survivor front is $430 shipped, so we will see, I guess I have an important decision to make.
