I'm taking some classes up at UM-D over the summer, (need to boost the GPA; AA is killing me ) anyways I need to get my parking pass for the summer. So which student parking lots would you guys who are familiar with the area recommend? (not sure if the campus is designed specifically to area of study, anyways if so, I'm taking two science classes if this makes any difference). Thanks.

ha dont worry about the parking pass. they arent strict at all as long as you dont park in the faculty lots. i mean i never got my pass for this year and i havent had any problems at all... if you're taking science classes you'll most likely be by the ELB (engineering lab building) and the science building, theres a parking lot at the north end of the campus for those buildings. ill be taking summer classes too, maybe we should have an on-campus mini-meet .

Go into the Henry Ford Estate and there's parking there for the CASL building, always a spot open as the CASL parking lot fills up quick.

Behind the field house is a good lot for the CASL building, it barely ever fills up.

BTW, who else goes to UM-D? I've been seeing a lot of contours around there, as well as a couple modded SVTs.

Wow..

I was expecting parking to be a PITA; I will definitely checking these lots out. And about the mini-meets; sounds good. I think most of my classes are from 9am-12pm or so (MWTh), I'll be sure to verify that once I register.

Also another question, wtf is the registration website? The Guest Acceptance letter told me to go to www.umich.edu/registration/umid, but it doesn't seem to work. Can anyone help me out? Also, is the PIN your birthdate (6 digits?)? Thanks for the help, I'm sure to bring more questions as the summer term comes nearer, so you UM-Ders better check this thread frequently .

I think this is the site you need. And yes, your 6 digit birthdate is your pin number, and your login is either your soc sec number or student number (if u have one).
