ok so my car went into the shop about 9 days ago for a trans rebuild and clutch upgrade. throughout the process they have had to take it apart and put it back together 3 times due to little sh*t fu**in up upon test drive. so i get a call from them saying my car is good to go and i go there and fire it up and shes got this click in the transcase. i tell the guy and he starts cussin about "how the hell did his guy not here that click and we gotta take it back apart"

he says hes gonna check to see if the input shafting is moving around or if the gears have a chip or burr of some sort. so i call him today and my shaft is spinning and seated perfect and the gears are perfect and he (the professional) cant figure it out

go figure it would be my car that has a trans mechanic confused but what the hell is wrong with my baby?
ok so clicking when in neutral and idling, goes away when the clutch is depressed or engine revs, but its not the slave or anything in the bell housing area. the shaft can be wiggled and the synchro hubs are making the clicking but the synchros are fine?
he is going to call a guy on the east coast in the morning that he goes to sometimes for answers so i might have this issue resolved sooner than responses from you guys but i know some of the guys on here are very knowledgable on this car and i told him that i would research on my end.
and keep in mind that once this car is back to me i should be posting high 13s so its in the families interest to help me out
