I need Tweeters for my ride. I listen to rap and R&B and a little bit of alternative as well. I will spend up to $100. Any recommendations will be well appreciated. Thanks.

I would recommend these.

They were originally used in some Phoenix Gold component sets.

Well, my car was totalled last month so right now..nothing. Before the accident, my latest iteration of my stereo system was the following.

Sony CDX-C910
Sony Changer
Sony XDP210EQ EQ/Crossover
McIntosh MC440M
2 JL Audio 10W6
MB Quart 218.03 front doors
MB Quart coaxials in the rear.
All street wires excluding a monster cable toslink cable connecting the HU to the eq.

Now, i have to say that the JL10W6 were just substitutes for my Shiva that moved into my house for HT duty. Instead of buying another sub, I used the JLs I had laying around. The MB Quarts, I got brand new for 275.00 for the two pairs. I would never pay full price for them! :-) My plan was to put a couple of 7" in the doors with some custom kick panels with 2 3" dome mids and a 6" ribbon tweeter. I'm supposed to help SHOLUVMYSVT with his install. If I can convince him, he might end up with what I was trying to accomplish.

You holding on to all that equipment for new car you will grace with a system. Or would you be willing to sell say some of that MB Quart stuff?

Well, unfortunately the driver side speakers didn't survive. I do have one mid and a tweet. Sorry. Otherwise, I would definitely sell them to you.

What is needed to incorporate these tweeters into the stock sound system? Recommended location?

Lew,

Dnewman's on vacation, he said something about a honeymoon.

I can help answer, though. I will assume you have the stock head unit and speakers.

You can add tweeters easily to a stock setup. Just splice into the door speaker. I recommend a crossover, but most tweeters (such as these ones) come with a crossover already. As for the placement, it's really up to each person's taste. I have a pair surface mounted (with velcro) to my defrost vents. It was easy, looks good, and sounds good to me. You could use some plumber's putty for trial locations. Other people have drilled holes to make the tweeteres flush which looks better, but cannot be reversed (since you cut a hole in your door panel).

I recommend a different tweeter now than this one. Both are great, but I think this other one is a little better.
