so i got the seats out of my last SVT (R.I.P.) and cut a nice big hole in the back, made some brackets, and mounted my amp into the back of the seat. moved the grounding wire to the other side of the car (amp had been on the drivers side) and extended the power cable, drilled a hole to put all the wires in, and plugged it all in. then the moment of truth.......and it didnt start up!! turned out that i grounded the wrong wire during the install and blew the fuse thats inline with the battery...5 dollars later and it runs fine. i think i may redo it with the original seat so i can make the install cleaner, like keep the carpeting around the edges and even out the foam underneath. what do you think? it only cost me ~20 bucks, 10 for the seat, 5 for the fuse, and ~5 for the various pieces of metal/screws in the brackets i made...

oh and the sub was just there while i was testing the amp/taking pictures, i push it back about 3-4" to put the seat up

not really, no, but to be on the safe side theres gonna be a board going in underneath the amp, and a grommet going in the hole where the wires are so that they dont get cut up, and im going to shorten the ground wire to about 1.5'

You also forgot to mention back massager. So that makes 3 mods in one.

I wouldnt be. The sub should blow air on the amp as it plays.
Nice install
