Hi, I'm in the middle of changing/checking my waterpump and have run into a few problems. First, the pulley belt tensioner seems to be frozen. It does not move, though I can see its spring that should allow it to do so. Also, I'm having a heck of a time getting the hoses off. Is there a trick to doing this? A special tool? I squish the clamps until they are free, but the hoses seem to be permanently attached...

Not sure about the tensioner, but You really need a second person to tug on the hoses with you, they are really on there, I banged up my hands more then once trying to get them off, you could maybe heat them up a little with a hair dryer or something, may sure you don't melt them, that way they are a little more flexible, just a thought

good luck
