Seems most occurrences happen from taking cloverleafs at high rpm levels.
This is made worse by that fact that running the engine just a few OUNCES low on oil will cause a tremendous increase in the chance for this to happen. (I.E. religiously monitor your oil level)







I know that one from experience. I wanna kill the guy that designed the cloverleaf on/off ramp system. j/k
But thats how i wrecked mine.

I know it's been discussed previously, but is everyone positive that it is the drainage out of the heads that causes the oil starvation on long right hand sweepers? By this logic, wouldn't unscrewing the oil filler cap with the engine revving around 6k result in tons of oil pouring out of the filler hole, even when the car was sitting still?
