I am also on probe talk, all I hear are what I would call "Ricer" kill stories by 16 yr old kids.

But there are some on there that have very respectable cars that have quite a bit of $$$ into there Probe...but most probe ricers are talking about stock SVT's that are driven by probably more mature adults that could care less about racing a punk kid in there 1,100 dollar Probe with a fart can.

agreed.... some of the guys in my club have probe gts that are pretty extensively modified as far as bolt ons go, and they are netting 15.1's in the 1/4. respectable, and probably just ahead of a stock CSVT. but on the whole, PGT's are not faster than a CSVT with similar drivers.

02 Mustang GT... Tuned by Nelsons. Low 12's, anyone? .....______ ___|______\_____ |/-\_________/-\_| .\_/...............\_/

I have owned both a Probe GT and a CSVT. The last 6 months I had the PGT I had the 200hp KLZE engine in it. I'd say the PGT with the KLZE engine is about as fast as the CSVT. But stock for stock the CSVT is definitely faster. The fastest PGT I've ever seen tested in a car magazine did 0-60 in 7.3 seconds and the fastest CSVT did 6.9. Numbers don't lie.

1998.5 CSVT
