i have a 95 contour gl 4 cyl, mtx. i installed a cta motorsports intake and since then my car has been idling roughly on and off. sometimes it idles so rough that it seems like the car is going to cut off. and when i lift up on the intake it starts to stall the engine. i cannot figure out why it is making my engine idle so roughly. i have pulled both of the plugs to the maf and the other sensor in hopes that it would reset itself to the new amount of air intake but that didn't work. i didn't notice that if any metal touches the maf that it kinda grounds it out and almost stalls the car. the maf wires are resting on the battery mounting bracket could this be a cause for the trouble? any help is appreciated. thanks.
