when my car was completely stock i would launch about 3000-3500rpm's and just fight through the wheel hop .........maybe thats why my differential has broken twice

What track are you going to? Becareful of your differential. Avoid wheel hop. start to go when you see the last light before the green. (your reaction time is slightly slower then you might think, or so I learned.) Let your car cool between runs. There are plenty more tips but I'm sure others will chime in. Most of all have fun.

Low rpm clutch slip and then punch it.

Wheel hop is deadly, but spin is not.

Shift right at redline without hitting it.

I have heard that icing the intake helps. When I use to run the pro, it didnt seem to help much. But then again I never really "tested" it either.

But just like Mbb41 said, when you see the last yellow light flash GO! It'll take ya a few runs to get use to it.

When I use to run, I rolled forward a few times and red lighted b/c I was trying to rev the RPMS and had a hard time keeping the car still. It takes a while to get use to it and get a feel for your car.

Hope this helps!

exactly right.

when you see the first set of yellow pre staging lights go on, stop. then proceed very slowly until the staging bulbs light up because you want to stage your car as deep in the pocket as possible. that way when you use the low rpm slip your car is actually moving forward before the light goes green and you wont red light.

I wont be racing for a while, but when I do go back I will try this. Thanks for the info! I had a hard time revving up and keeping the car still. I didnt red light every time, but the reason I didnt red light was luck.

But yea, this isnt my post but that is useful to me, so thanks!
