i printed out the how to for the door panel removal and it was nice and straight forard. only thing i hated were those peice of **** sail panel plugs. especially on the drivers side, so ididnt bother taking them out and just left the sail panel there.
but anyways, i installed the new speakers. i dont know why, but i dont hear much of a diff. the tweets jus sound a bit better

I don't know what kind of system you're running, but if you haven't changed your HU, you're not going to notice much of a difference.

It seems that when people put a new, better HU in their cars, the stock speakers sound like arse. Then, they upgrade the speakers to get the most out of their new HUs.

If you have the stock HU, you're just running a mediocre signal to great speakers.
Disclaimer: I have the stock system, think it's alright, and will change it out when I have the money. I also don't know anything for a fact.

Jazzman, you are mostly right, but not completely. Most people have found that the stock speakers actually sound decent with an aftermarket HU. They are actually quite decent mids. Add a set of aftermarket tweets and block the bass and they pretty good.
