picked her up for $1200. 302 automatic. for what it is, and how old it is...its in great shape. i dont care for the silly stripes though...and the wheels need some love.
if it were a bit taller, i'd seriously run over the mystique.

You should be able to get those wheels sandblasted and repainted for cheap.

Leaky rear main in a 351 can be fixed for about $300. Too bad you let her go...
Those old Broncs could take a beatin' & dish one out too. The 302 will practically last forever even if somewhat abused.
The engine/tranny in my '88 Merc was practically bomb proof. Had the tranny serviced once during its life in Smithville, Tn at 100,000 miles - the shop owner asked if it was a new one 'cause it looked so good. If that has the same tranny, just put an extra cooler on it & you'll never have a problem.
Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.

She been givin ya troubles?
If you ever want to run over some people.......I'll give you some names and addresses .....and I'll buy you a tank of gas.
Anyways, great truck! You'll have fun with that one. It looks pretty good too. The paint looks very nice considering its an 88 and those wheels shouldn't be hard to deal with. Maybe the stripes will come off? I dunno....haven't had to deal with stripes myself.

Paint it white! Best license plate I've ever seen, on a white Ford Bronco here in Illinois: Seven letter vanity plate, IMNOTOJ.
