So I finally picked up the SVT springs and struts from Roger tonight. Is there anyone in the Southgate area that would be interested in helping me with the swap. I can do the work myself, I mainly just don't have a place to do it. I live in an apt. and they don't like it when you work on your car in the parking lot. I've got some tools but I will probably need large ratchets, breaker bars, spring compressor, floor jack and stands. I would really appreciate the help and think it would be great to have done for the K-zoo run in a couple weeks. Reply or PM me.
Thanks

Spring compressors? Did they separate the spring from the strut?

Honestly, I haven't looked but I don't think so. I just figured in order to remove the assembly you would have to compress the spring to take some of the force off of the lower control arm. Taking the springs/struts off my friends PT was a PITA till we got a compressor.

Something might go wrong if you don't take it to a shop and shell out a lot of $$$. Take it to ATI. Look at your brakes before you take off though.
