Just after I got my emission test last time I had a clog in my main cat and one of my front pre-cats (on bank 1). I just removed the insides of both and the car has run fine ever since. However, it is time to get the car tested again. How can I get it to pass????
I am past warrantee so taking it to the dealer for free replacements is not an option. I live in Ontario and we basically have a tail pipe test. I believe technically it is called a driven dynometer test.

Here in Canada your cel light means nothing...You can still pass an emissions test with your light on. Your CEL light has nothing to do with you passing an emission test. Your CEL light could be lit and your emmisions could still be well below the accepted tandards.
