very good observations, while the predators are staying with the wings for 60 minutes and the young legs and speed of the preds are playing for their advantage, i just hope the wings dont get their playoff legs too quickly....the only reason we are still in it, is because of vokoun.....defense has to step up, vokoun is taking care of his own screeners....too many wings standing in front the of net....they need to be LAYING in front of the net!!!!
cant let the wings cycle in the zone....no other team has such a superb passing game as the red wings do.....cant wait until game 4, i predict by then my voice will be completely gone as it hurts right now already....
What's this? A Predators fan with something intelligent to say? What a nice change from Jimmy-Joe-Billy-Bob's "Red Wings Suck" comment!
At this point, no one can say either team sucks. They both have played some very exciting hockey. This is what all hockey fans live for, the play-off's!
Just glad to see there are some Nashville fans who can appreciate good play off season hockey.

 That wasn't the Red Wings out there. Hats off to Vokoun and the rest of the Preds for playing a damn good game 4. Cya back in Detroit.

I'm gonna go out on a limb (and I hope to God I'm wrong on this) and say the Wings are gonna lose this series. They have been out-hustled and out-played 11 out of 12 periods so far. I couldn't believe what I was seeing tonight. Nashville is playing very well and Detroit doesn't seem to have an answer for it. I'm not buying the "hot goaltender" stuff again... out of the 40+ shots they had on Vokoun tonight you barely need more than one hand to count the number of outstanding saves/quality chances they had. There just doesn't seem to be any fire there... I thought that after they won Game 2 (a game that they had NO business winning) they'd get it together and realize this wasn't gonna be a series they could sleepwalk through... guess I was wrong.

All wing nuts were dismayed. I agree only 10-12 SOG were any good, still Vokoun was 'ON.' While I agree they didn't deserve any more than they (Wings) got (and please no one take this as an excuse)the officiating wasn't the most equitable. A blood drawing High stick and a questionable 2 line pass resulting in a goal. Preds are solid, but I predict that a sleeping giant has been awoken. I'll stick with my original Wings in 6.

WOO, preds, impressive espicially when comparing the shots on goal. The preds just finished when it counted. I play soccer and the teams that win championships are the ones who score when its there, this is true in low scoring games such as hockey, too. The preds just capitalized when needed tonight. Anyhow I am off to nashville next year to attend Vanderbilt. so go preds.

very interested in this....i was in the arena but i was opposite (behind vokoun) of the intereference call/no goal call.....we never got a good replay or any reverse angles in the arena so i cant comment on it.....
red wings look tired....they look worn out already, i sure hope they stay that way....your right, even though vokoun had 41 saves in a shutout....there wasnt anything there.....how many red wings cuttin down through the slot firing a one-timer from 20ft away did you see....i only remember one off the top of my head....they just werent there....but hey i take my win!!!
gonna be very interesting goin back to detroit on thursday night....
one question for those who watched the game on tv....i have family here that said on tv you could hear every word/cheer coming from us fans, and the commentators couldnt believe how loud it actually, said it was easily the loudest the gaylord entertainment center has ever been....that was on fox sports net, cause we dont get the local games on espn, just our own local coverage...so for you guys watching on espn, any comments?

oh yeah i got one more thing to say, and this could be a whole other thread.....
the officiating in tonights game, especially, was horrible! that game was totally out of hand and just kept getting worse as it went on.....one thing that sticks out in my mind is the totally missed high sticking call were scott walker got kris draper and actually drew blood....no call.....preds got away with a lot as well as the wings got away with some....you know this mess where every time the whistle blows teams are goin at it.....hey refs! pull your heads out of your asses and wake up....if it happens twice in a row, it will only get worse as the game....take control of the game your are supposed to be in control of.....
