$55,000 orginal price. Why not just get a truck. It looks silly too.
Former owner: 1999 Contour SE Sport

There are three ways to do things: the right way, the wrong way, and the Max Power way!
Isn't that just the wrong way?
Yeah, but faster!

Not too many factory trucks have cabs that big and luxurious and a 6x12 foot flatbed on the back and an air-ride/air-brake system and can tow 12,500 lbs and do it getting over 20MPG.
And on top of all that you've got a truck only 10 people in the country do.
All in all, not a bad deal at all. Provided it's still running well, $15,000 for a used truck with all those features and only 58K miles is a steal.

Well, I would be leery of the vehicle's true credentials and real ability to survive long term towing like that. I would definitely want more information than on e-Bay, and I think the vehicle lacks the torque to pull heavy weights well.
Carfax was unable to attach a make/model to the VIN, but did find four records.
Brad "Diva": 2004 Mazda 6s 5-door, Volcanic Red
Rex: 1988 Mazda RX-7 Vert, Harbor Blue.

It's not a diesel is it? It's just the normal turbo gas 5cyl also used in volvo cars, right? It's pretty powerful, but yeah, not gonna have a lotta torque unless it's diesel. I think it's cool, just may be a little slow (and useless in hilly parts of the country) when towing things. I'm sure the floridian owners didn't have problems with hills and I doubt they care how quick it gets up to cruising speed. I'm sure it has enough power to atleast get moving, though you can always modify it. That engine gets to 300hp pretty easily.
