The 245/45R16 is the EXACT diameter of the stock 205/60R15's that came with the car. The only question I have is will the 245 fit on a 16x7 SVT rim and will it rub in hard cornering?

Not all tire shops will be willing to try to fit that wide of a tire on a 7" wheel, try getting a wider wheel.

Both stock SVT wheels are 6.5 inches wide.

I have 225/50R16 tires on my 98 E0 with stock wheels and there is no more room. The 225 fits, and the clearance is just barely adequate, but there is no more room.

By the way, the 225/50R16 is exactly the same diameter as the original 202/55R16 tires that my car came with.

Thank you all that assisted me in this. I was incorrect and I see that now with all the input. I will take the advice of all and get 225/50R16's and enjoy them. Besides a "Z" rated tire in that size will compliment the suspension well and really tighten my baby up...hehehehe
