I need two new tires, so, I call for a price at Frisby on the 225-50-16 g-force. $268 each.
I call the local SVT dealer (Campbell). $243 apiece, balanced and installed. I'm shocked. Since when do dealers beat the tire shops on price?
(either way, these tires are expensive. If I'd needed four, I would've gone to Pirelli or something)

If anyone is interested in 225/50/16 Toyo T1S (no FZ4), I have a source that can get them for $800.00 cash for all four, brand new with stickers still on them. He can also get other sizes too.

See here is the thing Chris. I find your post informative and not really a FS post. However the post Rob started was locked (not by me.)  So being new to this whole Mod thing I'm confused between blatant FS post and then the not so blatent. Almost makes me wish to put a sticky up at the top of the forum that in effect if you have something FS you (meaning if anybody) could inform the GTA section you have put something into the classifieds. Does that make sense. Further more does it seem that would violate things? I mean this way there could be one thread for local trading and sale?

I do like the idea of there being some way to let local members know of stuff for sale. Just a matter of arranging it so that it doesn't get out of hand. Maybe one subject that people can add to as they have things they want to sell?

Ok I pm'ed Lance about this. I offered the idea of even just having a FS in Canada section in the Classifeid. I think that would be an even better idea. It would make for a way to differentiate where you want to look for FS stuff. I know I hate dealing with the border junk.

I got sick of paying $250.00 a tire on the G-Forces. So I listened to a guy at superior tire in Toronto, I don't know if they have locations in Ottawa. I decided to go with Toyo Proxies FZ4. All I can say they destroy the G-Forces in wet/dry/snow and I spent $750.00 for all four installed, alligned and including taxes. I higly recommend them.
