Just get a Folger's can for your exhaust, tacky unpainted aluminum wing, and 4 or 5 NOS and Type R stickers...that should EASILY give you an additional 25-30 HP. Or a 3L would work too.

I believe he said EASIEST. Most of us could not, or would not even want to replace a motor.
BTW, that SHO-Shop 3.5L engine upgrade in the Contour catalog looks interesting. Wonder when they'll have them available?

High flow cat-back exhaust Optimized stock Y Optimized TB MAF Adapter & K&N #3530 (w/proper heat sheild)
***Drum roll please***...Dyno tune and custom burned chip.
And oh...make sure you're running all synthetic fluids, and that your wires/plugs are good to go.
After that..you could play around with port matching, gasket matching, Max-honing, head work, under drive pullies, etc...

When hell freezes over.
Not only that but if they price it at 3-4 times regular cost like their 3L short block expect it to be up to twice as expensive as having the Street Flight Kit installed. Not to mention not make even close to it's power level. TQ especially!

It was not broke; Yet I fixed it anyway.

NOS is cheap but kinda risky, and expensive and very risky if you use it a lot. If you want 25hp constant power from your SVT, a chip won't do it without more mods than you have, but with a couple little tweaks and THEN a chip, you could get 25. BUT, that would be a pain in the neck. So I would say that you're looking at something like a turbo, which is expensive but not a huge pain for you, if you have it put in, or, a ton of little mods, which is not easy, like Demon has, but done right can be very sweet. Also, the 3L is a bit of a pain in the neck, I've done 2.5 to 2.5 swaps, and even that is pricy, but it would be chaper than the turbo, and it's a great place to go before modding up.
