Well, after the rolling of the Young Contour, I had to get a replacement car, and it was a Ford Thunderbird 1997 LX (V8, Black, ABS, Moonroof, everything). I just wanna thank you guys for all the help and QandA sessions, espically ZetecRacing. It was fun while it lasted... http://crash.walien.com/ BTW, all the parts are already claimed, except for the MAF.

I don't wanna retell the story, but just search for it. Oh, and the Tbird is working out great, and the aftermarket is pretty big. I miss the handling of the Contour, but the raw power of the 4.6L V8 makes up for it.

funny u say raw power, sure it has 200hp and gobs of TQ, but the car is damn heavy, in 3500 area i think, it needs all that TQ to just get out of its way... i had a 97 Pearl white loaded with 4.6, i loved it and absolutely one of my favorite cars, too bad it go stolen.. anyways thing bone stock ran a 16.1, so not too bad, but the trannys need some work, they tend to break before 100k alot, so look into that, they have a tranny mod to make it last longer and help you get going faster as well, funny you say aftermarket is big, it never really was when i had my car in 97, must have grown some since then...

You don't have to stop posting or chatting here on this bb just because you no longer drive a Contour. You can still use the "Enthusiasts" part of the CEG name.

I checked out the pictures, and damn! Sorry to see that bro. Good luck with your new T-Bird though, and you really don't have to leave the site. There are other people on here that have other cars then Contours.
