Hey Everybody,

I was just down at VIP Auto, and Rob who works there is a Contour Enthusiast. He mentioned he's been on CEG before, but never checked out the NECEG Chapter/Forum.

I'm sure he'll be checking in soon.

He's got a nice looking 98+ V6 with some future mod projects.

Unfortunately VIP didn't have a TB Gasket, and now I've got to wait until Monday

Hello all this is Rob. Thank you for the intro Zack. I am most interested in the next meet. I have lots to share and lots to learn. As Zack said I have a 2000 Contour Sport V6. Besides the color I LOVE it! It is what they refer to as Prairie Tan...nothing exciting. It is my second Contour. The first one was a 1996 4 banger manual. I made that one more wired for sound than I did any mods. Had about $7000 tied up in stereo equip in that betweek RF and Eclipse components. This Contour I have now I am going for performance FIRST. I would like to go with the "sleeper" effect. I have a nice set of Yoko's on there now, widened from the stock 205/60's to 215/60's. Handles nice on the highway, but corneres at less tight cause they are taller. However, looking to change that this summer with SVT rims and 245's. Have the suspension kit on back order from BAT. Get a great deal on installs cause of where I work...next to nothing. So far that is all. But saving and cutting corners anyway possible to get this car smokin!
