I am having a difficult time with this. See I have to get ready for Spring Break Nationals in Daytona. My car is represented by Kove Audio. I currenty have my 1/2 DIN EQ mounted underneath the radio. I don't like it there because it takes away the functionality of the cup holders. Does anyone have pics of other locations that they have put a 1/2 DIN EQ? I can't put it in the glove box my changer is there. I can't put it in the celing my sunroof is there. Any suggestions???

Center Console or top of the glove box.
OR remove the Contour/clock and trim it in.
I would go with the center console one storage pocket under the arm rest if it will fit.

Would like to put it in the Contour clock spot, but that is like putting a square peg into a round hole.

My AUdio Control EQ is tuned from the top. So I built a sliding "draw" that is installed under the passenger seat. I can slide it out, make an adjustment and then slide it back in again. The sliding brackets I bought at Home Depot.

I always wanted to see it put under the armrest in the center console (I think they canged the console after 97 though) I think it would be cool! You flip up the armrest and there are lights and switches, just like James Bond! Unfortunately I'm poor so that idea went out the window. Sorry, but when they remodelled the interior in 98, they really didn't have aftermarket stereo components in mind (actually, looking at the stock stereo, I'm not sure Ford even knows what stereos are) Good luck though!

I think the top of the glove box could work. Only problem with the contour/clock plate is there isnt much room behind that piece. Especially not for RCA's an what not. It kind of depends on how big your EQ is. I'm guessing it's a typical 1/2 din EQ that is about 5 or 6 inches deep plus depth for RCA and power. I'm fresh out of ideas for a 1/2 din EQ. About your only options are the contour/clock plate and the glovebox.
