It's done! finally.... I ended up lowering the sub frame as much as I could and that enabled me to slip the axle back in. I'm just glad it's over, well sort of. The car is getting aligned right now and the right front is making noise over rough pavement... I'm not to sure what it is. I pulled it back apart and made sure everything was as tight as possible. I'm going to let them worry about it.

Just for future reference, I bought a set of compressors for $15 at Adv Auto Parts and those are small enough to fit into the wheel well. I had to compress the springs only about 2" for a comfortable fit.
