Installed it this morning and am quite pleased. It's not the booming bass that you get from multiple subs in the back but it has a good amount of rumble to it. Plus it takes up a little more room than an amp. I'll take a photo and post it tomorrow. Now I've got to go around finding all the rattles and try and shut them up. As well as put some sound deadening in the trunk, I think that will help contain the bass in the car.

I was looking into the Infinity Bass Link, and I wanted to hear some comments about it from people who got it. Is it worth the money? Crutchfield wants $350 for it. I can get a JL audio 12w3 and an amp for only $50 more. I like the fact that the Infinity is all one unit, and that it leaves a good amount of room in the trunk. I listen to every kind of music imaginable, and I just want a clean beautiful sounding system...(nothing boomy or overpowering). Thank you for any help that you can give.

I think it's good for the money. I got mine for $219.00 shipped off ebay from carstereo2000.com I like it not taking up much room and it's pretty light. I have it bolted to the drivers side rear seat so there is no sliding around or anything to worry about. I know thezeb.com carries them too for 249 if you are interested.

Coors: Hey ya went and got it!! Nice price, too. 2 Questions: How much gain do ya have on the dials to get those trunk buzz/rattles? Do you think the Bass Link will mount on the back of the 'passenger seat'? as I have a 4 way amp already mounted on the back of the 'driver's' seat.
Ooooooh, one more quest: how's it sound with classic rock like Hendrix or the Stones? Does the bass hit properly w/o that boomy sub mud? Sorry if you like something entirely different. ZZZ.

[This message has been edited by Richiezoom (edited March 09, 2001).] Haven't listen to much classical rock but I like the sound of the music if it is a song using tighter bass rather than the rumbling bass. It should fit fine on the passenger seat you just have to get it in just the right point so the seat will close and the amp won't hit the rear deck. There is about .5 to 1" of play between the two. Rear deck buzz seems to hit at about .75 gain. I set the sound to specs with what the instructions said. I just have to sound deaden the trunk and rear deck to stop most of the rattles.
