I got a 99 tour 92,300 miles 7 motnhs gao got in accident rear ended got $3200 from insurance never fixed the car due to its depleted value.

Yesterday I was driving all the suden i hit th egas car went but slugish so i kept jaming the gas... Maybe a minute later check engine light came on and car died while i was driving. I coasted luckily i was 2 seconds away form a gas station. pulled pushed the car got $10 of gas car still wouldnt start.. I figure maybe fuel pump is shot...

Motor sounds funny wont turn over tell the guy 2 look at at and clal me.. The timing belt blew while i was driving...

$475 to fix the belt and i think the tensioner..

Do you tihnk i could of blown the motor cuz i kept florring it while it was sputtering I was goin around 30mph.. I wont wont know if the motors fd up till I fix it???

What the hell type of help was that? Read the forum rules.
In my non professional opinion your motor will be fine. You may want to wait for a resident expert to chime in.

Hate to tell you but you were trying to correct his spelling errors and you spelled "maybe" wrong.

You are probably alright. There have been others on this site that had the belt break while they were driving it and the engine was ok.

Doesn't the Zetec have a chain? I know the duratec's do, but I think your engine will be alright! The engine is set up so the pistons won't snap the valves (thankfully), so you should be fine. I've heard it's a little difficult to find TDC due to the tight quarters that the engine is in. Good luck and keep it as long as you can. It's still a great car!
