There is also a 61/2 behind the door. First I had to find paint to match because I didnt want the tweeter in the doorpanel if it was black. After about 10 trips to diferent places 4 different paints I came across some Krylon home decorating spray. Im not sure what the color is called but if you want to know let me know and ill go find it and look (I put it away in the back of the basement) Then I made a template and stuck it exzactly were I wanted the tweeter and cut the hole with a dremel. I cut it about 3/16 bigger then I wanted it then used a sanding bit to trim it down to the perfect size. I test fitted it a couple of times to make sure I didnt go to big. The tweeter is in 2 pieces. I painted the outside piece then tapped off the actually tweeter not to spray the grill. Then I sprayed paint into the can cap and used a brush to paint the grill. It was all so simple, it only took about 3 hours to do both doors. The only problem is the paint is pretty shiney unlike the rest of the interior and on the grill its hard to paint the inside of the holes so where there is paint you can tell where there isnt. So im definatly going to have to go touch that up a couple of times. Anymore questions let me know. Im glad you like it, ive been wanting to do this for some time and put a lot of thought into it. ------------------ Madic '00 Black SVT 1545 of 2150, Jan 13 00 madic99@hotmail.com [This message has been edited by Madic (edited March 05, 2001).]

Yes it is at leg level, actually right at the knee. At first before I did it I figured that that would suck but I didnt want to put it anywhere else because I didnt want to go out of the grill area so if I fugged up I could just get the grill fix kit. I test sounded it the best I could (which wasnt very good) and I thought it sounded "okay" but once I got it completed and the amps and crossovers tuned just right it sounds friggin awesome! If someone's knee is in the way it is a little quiter but makes the sound sound like its comming from the front of the car more. I love it, Im not sure what anyone else would think but it sounds better then all my past cars ever have. ------------------ Madic '00 Black SVT 1545 of 2150, Jan 13 00 madic99@hotmail.com
