About the same time last year, the airbag light started blinking for a few days and then disappeared until last week. This time it seems like its back for good.

It blinks 5 times, pauses briefly and then blinks 2 more times.

Anyone know what this code could mean?

I don't know if this will apply to your vehicle but my 98 Mystique had a recall on the crash sensors five or six years ago. You might wanna check and see if yours did too. Unfortunatly I don't know where to find this information.....maybe someone else here does?

Theres your problem.

Five flashes before the pause means the code start with 5, then two more flashes means 2, so 52.
