Any one have experience with the BAT ball joints? Any integrity issues related to bolted VS riveted ball joints / lower control arm?

Also, How long should it take me to replace the 4 upper strut mounts. Will be retaining existing struts and springs. Should have had them installed last spring :-( Have a lift, strut compressor, and air tools.

Thanks in advance for your input.

Thats a huge start. I'd estimate 3-4 hours for everything.

Nope. I recommend the new Ford greaseable ball joints with zirk fitting. Keep em greased and they'll last forever and you don't need to remove the lower control arms.

Todras, I called my Ford dealer and they did'nt have them listed, only lower control arms. Mine only have about 15K miles on them.

The Ford greasble ball joint is news to me. May be a USA item only. Do you have a part #?

May have to order from the US...not a problem.

Thanks!

Still have one box luckily. F5RZ-3V078-B. Neighbors looked at me funny walking out to my garage in my PJ's.

Todras...that's great! Thanks a lot!

Next you'll see the neighbours in the PJ's. May have started a new trend :-)

Thanks again
