Does anyone have JL Audio subs? I hear that they rock, but I've never heard one. Im looking at the 12w3 ProWedge Enclosure and I want to run about 200 watts to it.

JLs are definitely one of the best subs on the market and a consistent winner in competition. The combination of 200 watts and that sub should work very well together.

i have 2 jl 12 w3 in a sealed box and im using an mtx 500d to run them. i would definatly use more power than recommended on the spec sheet. ive talked to jl a couple of times to get an idea on what rms power these can take and they have all been from 350-500 watts rms. they said that they would not reccomend running the upper end in anything but a sealed enclosure. they sound very good and have really good cone excursion.

I have one JL 12W3 in a sealed box driven with an Alpine 250W RMS amp. It sounds really good, but I think it might be even happier with a little more power. Incidentally, if you buy a SubZone box, it fits perfectly in the angled trunk compartment. Check my page for more details...

I have 2 JL 10W0's in a band pass box in my SVT. All I can say is it pounds. I would highly recommend them. If you are not into competition save your self some cash and buy the W0 series subs. They sound just as good.
