Absolutely, yes! I have a pair of OS 6.5" in the rear with a similar "template". I had to cut a bit away from the metal handle piece for clearance, but I think you could get it to work without any modifications. One recommendation I have for ANYONE replacing speakers: Dynamat! Well, ok, I used that cheap hi-temp mastic from Mcmaster-carr, but it's the same thing. I installed the speakers and waited 2 weeks to dynamat. I sealed ALL holes except for the 2 holding the inner door panel in place. I estimate that I gained 9-15 DB in the 50-150 HZ range! It's unbelieveable. And yes, you must seal EVERY hole. Even leaving 1 uncovered (which I did on one door at first), gave me noticible sound loss. Sorry for the long post, but the dampening material made such a difference.....Don't overlook this, it makes as much difference as the speakers you choose....
