I tell em stfu, i like big cars, and its a 4 door, and pretty good sized
Most the High schoolers who are drivin them [censored] honda's, have them so small, and then I normally ask if I can sit on their park bench (fugly spoiler that is being held together by cheapass bolts, and [censored] installation)
Ignore em tho, and if they ask to race, do it! Smoke their asses! They wont know wtf hit em!

i totally know what you're talking about! i've never been pulled over, and even once was going like 15 over past a cop ( i dont usually speed). well the cop pulled out, but he pulled over the person BEHIND me!
anyways, i would let the kids make asses of themselves. if theyre saying an CSVT is a granny car, then they obviously dont know much about cars. ignorance is bliss. let them be fools

And even with 4 fat mama's in your tour you could smoke them!

Year Difference: 2000-1985 = 15 YEARS NEWER
HP Difference: 200-120 = 80 HP MORE

Now Im sure about the torque in RX-7's but its a rotary engine no? This usually means less TQ than HP, so you got him there too.

Tell him to shat his big trap and wait to see what happens.... and throw a Borla or Magnaflow on it and that'll shut him up even quicker! Silly Mazda owners

First of all, his car doesn't even run, he shouldn't be talkin at all. Secondly, which has been said before, CSVTs have a considerably more amount of power.

I have this one punk at skool, who drives a Saturn VUE Redline, which runs a honda engine, who keeps talking cr@p, but won't try me. most of them are jsut full of sh!t.

just wanted to add my $.02

I survived high school driving a car much worse than any Contique and I'm here to tell ya......Take Kremitthefrog's advice and ignore the little feckers...They are clearly narrow minded and mis-informed. People in high school can be extremely obnoxious and superficial. A girlfriend of mine wore the wrong brand of jeans once in ninth grade and the name-brand Nazis never forgave her for it. Those people are probably struggling with all sorts of insecurities about themselves (not that thats any excuse) so they are afraid to be seen with any vehicle thats not the freakin flavor of the week according to the fickle and evil people who decide those things. You deserve much better friends anyway. There was a guy who used to pick on my Mystique all the time and then I found out that his Civic was givin him all sorts of troubles and he was venting his frustration on my baby.
It doesn't matter if other people like your car...it only matters that you like it. And that CEG people like it....which we do. And theres a positive side to having a car thats not popular at your school.....they won't try to steal it!

my friends call my car the "wigger" car, because I have a really nice Mp3/CD player in it and the stock muffler on it gives it a deep buzzing engine sound that a big muffler has. but they do that jsut to screw with me. Yeah they are stupid to think an 85 RX-7 will beat your SVT 98 tour.

My Parents used to own an 1984 RX7 GSLSE, a very fast and very nice car. I doubt this kids car is a GSLSE. But even if it is, if the car doesn't run then he shouldn't put down a 1982 rusted out corolla. A car that doesn't run is USELESS. He is just being an a$$hole, he's jealous, plain and simple. Ignore him, your car is better, you could kick his butt and you know it.

i see probably 8 contiques in my town every day. i think there are probably around 25 in the 6 sq. mile area around my house.(only counting post98s). i only know of 2 that anyone under 50 drives, one kids csvt and another's mystique. it is usually older people driving the cars, but i saw an old guy driving a nice lancer today too so you can't always judge by that. maybe all the old people just know where the good cars are
anyway just suprise them one day and it should shut them up. show up where you know they hang out or something like that.
so in essence, you could say to them, "get your car running and we'll see what you've got," and you could invite them to the next ceg meet in your area
