By now most of you have realized how dumb Ford can be to locate an ELECTRONIC Alternator beside a wheelwell and above a Transaxle. Well I just my 3rd Alternator for my Car today

. I took it off and was going to pay $90 to get it rebuilt. I then got the phone call that the Reman for it had done a shotty job and most of the connections weren't sodered correctly and gave way, causing it to fry!!! Well the short of the long is that I did this at a hole-in-the-wall place called Auto Electric Company and got a Brand new (Not rebuilt) Alternator, fully assembled for $130! Compared to the $200-$300 cost I got everywhere else, I'd say my prayers were answered. BTW, if you have a All Tune & Lube near you, NEVER EVER use them. They are the [censored] that charged me $500 to put on my supposedly new Alternator (Rebuilt) that died in exactly a year (which had just gone out of warranty)!! Guess that goes to show you; You want something done right, you gotta do it your
DAMN self!
