I-71 south to Cincinatti. I-71 will run with I-75 into Kentucky for a brief time. Stay on I-75 south through Kentucky, Tenn, GA into Florida. Take Florida's Turnpike to Orlando/Miami (that's the name, it has no number) at Exit 65 all the way to Miami.

When looking for travel info, ask a trucker.

no, i wanna go directly for miami. 71 and 75 over atlanta looks (on the map at least) like that it makes a wide arc to the west. the alternative would be 77, 26 and 95, but i'm still indecisive.

is the distance accomplishable in one day?

My route is 30 miles longer but you stay out of windy West Virginia.

Mapquest says 1200 miles.. Prolly take ya about 20 hours or so.. No problem if you can split the driving with someone.

i'm goin on my own. i think i have to stay in Atlanta or Savannah, depends which route i choose.
i could reach it in a day for sure, if i could drive fast like in Germany, but with 60-70 m/ph more than dificult

If you want to come down the east coast you're going to need to find a route through Savannah, GA. The I-75 route mentioned above is a piece of cake. An alternative would be that instead of gettign on the turnpike, you could continue on I-75 to the 826 (Palmetto Expy)... careful, its a crowded freeway, but its free.

I'm sure the traffice load is considerably less west of Appalachia. Stay west!

Andy W. The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?
