Can I use a 2001+ Cougar V6 MTX as a replacement?

Also what is the weight on our tranny for shipping purposes? 120lbs? I'm guessing less then that though.

I never weighed it. 120lbs sounds like a good guess though. It is heavier than it looks.

My trans, shipped in a solid wood box weighed about 150lbs according to the shipping company.

The trans itself it quite heavy for it's small compact size.


99 Cougar V6 MTX...Plenty of mods My best mod thus far: Trans: Brand New MTX-75 with B1 gear set, Quaife LSD, 4.5 Final Drive, Spec Stage 1 Clutch, Spec Aluminum Flywheel...
