My car ended up back in the shop. Saturday I was going to pick up a friend to go to a party, and the trans. just stopped working at the stop light. Up until then I hadn't noticed one thing wrong with it. I went to shift into 1st to go, and it felt like I went into 3rd, so I went back to N and tried to go over to 1st again. By then I realized the shifter actually wasn't going into any gear, and could just be swung around wherever w/ or w/o the clutch engaged. I had to get the car towed, needless to say. The shop looked at the shift linkage cable this morning but found nothing wrong with it, so they're taking out the trans. as we speak to figure out what broke this time. I planned on replacing the synchros and shift forks anyhow in the next couple of weeks, just didn't count on it breaking and needing even more parts

Maybe my Centerforce went just like people have been talking about. I'd be fairly pissed if that was the case, but we'll see. The CFDF, torsen and spec flywheel only have about 20k on them, if that. They were installed in September. However, I know some of the guys at the shop and said if I brought by my suspension stuff, my O2 sensor and the Halo fog lights when they all show up, they'd do all the installation for free since they would have the car for about a week. Oh, and aparently they found even more wrong than what was originally noticed before with who reinstalled the motor thats in it now. The power steering lines were ran right on top of the exhaust, the main ground wire for the car was barely held on with a [censored] piece of tape and a wrong sized bolt. The shop manager said he would go over the whole engine bay and fix anything he saw improperly done. I know there was more to [censored] about, but I'm tired of typing it all as I'm sure you're tired of reading it. Oh well, we'll see what happens.
