Yeah, it's a bit of overkill. Actually, I meant 16 gauge, but it's still a bit of overkill - but it does justify explanation. Running 2 runs of cable - (60W RMS/40W RMS Front, 60W RMS/18W RMS Rear) to each door. Installing Blau OD663's in each door. For those of you not familiar, this is an oversized 6.5" with a dual voice coil on the woofer. This allows extra amplification to the low range (< 100 HZ +60W RMS) for better bass response without making the tweets scream. I'm doing this to avoid using trunk space (and $$$) for subwoofer, and I don't like 6X9's because they color the sound. Now, the reason for using larger gauge - well, I have to run the damn stuff, I'm gonna do it right the first time. I'm a big believer in overkill the first time, because I know I'll want to upgrade later. First I say, hmm..I really want components...then..I need more power...then..I really don't need a trunk
that badly...and the list goes on.
So, can anyone help me out? Getting the wire from the speaker to the door isn't a problem...it' getting it inside the car that I'm stuck on. This would be a lot easier if I was driving a beater...drill a little here..little there...no, make that over here...

This thing has been SIMPLE to wire until I hit the front doors...
