OP Darin_dup1 Newbie D Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 7	1996 Ford Contour fully loaded. 200,000 kms on it. 4 door. Body in excellent condition as well as the inside. I am thinking about buyng this. The price for it is 3700 Canadian.

Also, I suggest getting the car inspected, my car was "excellent" condition as well, I bought it, and onlt after went for inspection (stupid I know). This is what my CAA inspection gave me: Stabilizer Bar - maintenance required Parking Brake - maintenance required Suspension Arm Bushing - repair urgently Ball Joints - repair urgently Rear Calipers - repair urgently Front Wheel Bearings - repair urgently There were also a few minor things. Anyways, get the car inspected. 1993 KL-03 V6 Mazda Protege 1998 Contour SE V6 MTX - SOLD "Bottles are for babies, Real men get blown."

The seller just had alot of things fixed before he put it on the lot. but i am still going to get it checked out by a mechanic before i buy it. What are the speakers like in this car? the person who owned it before put a pioneer cddeck in it. But the speakers seem to not have very much trebble at all and its quite annoying.

Since I got my Contour I put 4 Infinity Seakers, Pioneer HU, Fosgate Amp and a MTX 8000 series Sub, sounds 100X better 1993 KL-03 V6 Mazda Protege 1998 Contour SE V6 MTX - SOLD "Bottles are for babies, Real men get blown."

marketplace_man New CEG\'er M Joined: Dec 2003 Posts: 21	I think that you are paying to much,the milage is to high for that price.You should be in around the 2500 range.If you decide to buy it check and see if the cats have been replaced,they are terribly expensive to replace.I'm in the Kitchener area and contours newer with less k's are going for around 4000.Good luck.

96 2.5L GL Auto CEG\'er 9 Joined: Feb 2004 Posts: 199 Sebright, ON	well, benchmark it against mine 96 Gl 2.5L auto, all power, sunroof, leather etc.. just wish it had heated seats and CD. Had 135000km on it when plated Jan 04. Safety/smogged. Struts/brakes done. Needed nothing ~ I put winter rubber on it. Body not perfect but not more than $400 in touchups. Dealer asked 4600, Paid 3800.
