So, I took Robin out today to teach her how to drive standard. Yes, on the SVT! She took to it like a fish to water! Didn't stall it once!! A little bit rough shifting on occasion, but, considering she's never driven anything but auto before, she's paid close attention to how cars drive, and picked it up with NO problems!! I like to think she had a good teacher, too, but, she really did it without a single problem!!

Actually, for an auto, its pretty gutsy! It's just a hell of a lot of fun to drive.

Man, I tried teaching Lisa, on the SE of course, and she learned VERY quickly. Also never stalling but just shifting at the wrong times.......which isn't too bad for the first time. But man, I have tried and tried and tried to get her to continue driving and she just won't. Ever since she bought the Jetta, she won't even think about getting into the driver seat of the SE or the SVT.... And to think, my original intent on buying the SVT was so that it would be her main car, my second car....That's quickly changed. lol.  Congrats on teaching Robin! She sounds like a keeper! haha
