I have a Pioneer DEH-P3100 running 4 TSA-6855's in the doors. My question is about bass. Some of the music I play has much more bass and has the tendency to make a popping noise in the rear speakers. What could I do to prevent this? Would bass blockers be a good idea? Could it possibly be the way my head unit is tuned?

I think the popping is due to air leakage in the rear doors. I have the same problem. Ford put that damn big hole in the bottom of the doors....I guess it's dynamat time.

Bass blockers should also help.

Thanks for the ideas. I'll have to look into it when I get time.
