Not sure if I should post this in wheels/tires or suspension so I posted it here. I had my tires rotated recently and the guy showed me uneven thread wear on the right rear tire, it was bald on the inside of the tire, but looked new on the outter side. He told me to go get my suspension checked, anyone know what the problem could be?

The car has 90,xxx miles on it and i've hit two curbs pretty hard before(so hard, i had to get a new wheel each time).

Follow his advice. Think of three of your tires headed North and Ur RR is trying to go East. Klipping Kurbs 'll do it every time!

time for an alignment and suspension check. Don't make em like they used ta. When I had an 83'Impala, I ran a few things over (including a curb) and never had a problem.

crawl under there and make sure that the rear trailing control arm isn't bent out of wack. so in other words, get an alignment done.

This sort of tire wear is generally caused by fairly aggressive neg camber setting and toe-out conditions. Unfortunately, we have no control over camber settings or caster for that matter. So if you get a good 4-wheel alignment make sure they set you toe-in as far in as possible within factory spec.

These arms very susceptible to bending due to curb hits, fortunately relatively inexpensive ($30) to replace with DIY labor. Alignment(toe) accomplished by cam bolt at inner end. Eyeball alignment (+ noticeable effect on centering of steeering wheel) can get you close to spec, but eventually you should get a proper alignment to confirm.
