Hey guys, i have a sub question. I currently have a single JL Audio 8W3D4 sub, and although it is a nice sub, i need something more. I would like to either get a 12" or a 15", but more likely a 12". I would also like to only spend about $100.00, and I will also need a box for it also, so all in all, I will be willing to spend about $160.00 - $175.00 bucks. Right now, I have a JBL gtq200, rated at 100 * 2 at 4 ohms, so a DVC sub would be nice. Any suggestions would be great, thanks.

I've got a very good suggestion. Go to www.stryke.com and get the SAE12. There is a pre-production sale for 99.00. It is an extremely good sub. It's got the DVC that you are looking for also.

looks good, ans the price is right, but the website looks a little shady, almost like they haven't been there in a while, have you (dnewman) or anyone else bought products from that company? Thanks.

I'm the owner of Stryke Audio. The website is in the process of being updated now. All current drivers are up on the website now, and I am working on getting everything added to the online store. Currently I am the only fulltime employee here, and basically all of our products are new since about November. We recently imported a large amount of parts and drivers, and have just purchased a CNC router system for building cabinets. It's been very difficult to keep up with construction of cabinets and PR's, processing orders, updating the website, up to 50 emails a day, and also answering the phone all day. You'll have to excuse that the site is a little slow to be updated. If you are in any doubt about our reputation, Stryke Audio has been proven for a long time now on the Bass List and the hometheater forum. BTW, anyone who has ever dealt with Stryke has gotten nothing but top notch service. One of the most respectable audio sites/companies on the web.

John, i appreciate your personal responce, it is nice to know that there is a person behind the scenes who cares I am VERY interested in your products, and once I recieve Uncle Sam's check, I will most definately make a move. Thanks again.
