I have a 2000 SVT and I'm having problems finding a hole to run the power wire through. Any suggestions? I'd like to avoid drilling if I can.

I ran my 4-ga. through a grommet on the drivers side, underneath the windshield cowl. There's a pic on my webpage. No drilling but I did have to punch through the firewall insulation.

That grommet is for the clutch. He has a clutch so he'll have to find another spot. That's where I ran mine too but I also have an ATX.

I had a similar problem but I was able to stuff my 8 gauge wire through the main wire grommet (has about a hundred wires going through it) above the pedals.

On the 98 SVT's you could pull the fuse box down and right behind you could drill a hole, that's where I did mine and I have 4 Gauge I used a grommet than sealed it with poly. Again that's if you want to drill.
