Will the clips from the return style injectors fit the new returnless injectors or are we talking splicing?

Yes, but ANY returnless Duratec will have the largest LIM

No, why do you need larger injectors anyway?

I don't know, I have an early 99 and after I quoted the 'before' measurements from my manifolds you were saying that it seemed like mine were dual pass EH'd manifolds. I'm thinking that they might not have been all that consistent.

I don't. I have a return style LIM. I'm shopping for a returnless LIM, and want something that's plug and play. But I have the orange top injectors, and the returnless have the green tops. I don't "think" I can put my orange tops or my fuel rail in the returnless LIM...hence the need to splice them in. Or am I off base here...

Ps...thanks for the reply.

You are Way off base.

The injectors just mount in the LIM. You would just use your old injectors and fuel rail.

It's called a "Returnless LIM" beause that's what type of fuel system the engine has that it comes on.

That is also why I state looking for a 00+ Cougar is the easiest & safest way to find a used one.

You should be safe looking for a 00 Contour/Mystique LIM as well. (provided they LISTED the LIM correctly and DID NOT mass group all the years!)

2000 SVT #674 13.47 @ 102 - All Motor! It was not broke; Yet I fixed it anyway.
