I'll be swapping LIM's later this week. Is it worthwhile to get the injectors cleaned (via ultrasound) while I've got access to them? The car's got 170,000 km (about 100,000 miles).

I do have new green top ones, but AFAIK they can't be swapped with the orange tops I believe I've got.

Thx in advance.

after 100k i'd expect an ultrasonic clean would be VERY desirable

Might as well do it while you can Lou. What is the cost involved?

Very worthwhile, check the pictures in the post right next to this one about UIM/LIM cleaning. Those are pictures of my injectors at 80,000 miles. While youre down there, its not hard to do at all, and its cheap to do.

They're about $30-35 each Cdn Rob. I may in fact be able to use the green ones though - anyone know for sure??
