I've had this clunking sound coming from the drivers rear corner and thought it was just the bushing clunk described in the FAQ. So I jack the rear up and take the rear wheels off and the bushings look fine with lots of grease around them. Interesting. So I look around and nothing seems out of place. I grab the spring on the drivers side and it's loose! I can move it up and down just slightly. So maybe that's my problem.
Is there a specific reason why the spring is loose - bad mount or something? I can hear the clunk over every bump, which makes sense.
Any help would be great.

FYI - They are Eibach Pro-kit springs with st200 struts installed around 1.5 years ago.

The other spring was nice and tight, with no movement.

I've never heard of an Eibach spring fracturing before. I'm going to take a good look at it this weekend and see if I can fix it.
The struts I'm using have a shorter valve length, but I'll check anyway.
Anyone else?

ST200s are OEM. Shaft length should be the same as stock SVT.
