I'd say the biggest knock against the borla system is the piping size (2.25 inches), that's why I didn't get it.
If you get a Tru Bendz exhaust, with 2.5 inch piping, a resonator followed by two mufflers, that should be pretty quiet.

I have the Borla also, and like it much better than the stock SVT exhaust with resonators removed. If you do a search, I'm pretty sure there are dynos listed somewhere on this site. There was quite a discussion about its performance gains during last group buy.

i had the bosal and wow it was loud. I had no pre cats and a ypipe with hight flow cat. Cops followed me home to give me tickets. I also put in the silencers and it helped with the drone but made it exremely raspy.

I'm not sure about the Borla system, but this dyno graph is from the Performance Fords web site and shows the gains with a Brullen Cat Back (2.5 inch, mandrel bent piping, no resonator 2 mufflers). On a stock CSVT I believe

Not sure if this is directed to me or not, but here it goes!!
I don't think I ever said the Borla wasn't worth buying, as it is obviously a very high quality system with a great sound. My beef is with the size of the piping (from a performance perspective). Why not go with the Tru Bendz 2.5 inch piping with Borla mufflers? Best of both worlds and cheaper too! But hey this is just one guys opinion... It's your money, do with it what you want and most of all enjoy it!!

P.S I have the Brullen Loud system
