my system consists of 2 amps an mtx 1000d(1x1000w) and a pioneer gx-702(2x75w). i have 1/0 ga. power wire w/ a 150amp fuse. at night while driving my lights blink so much ive been able to pull people over and write them tickets. will a cap fix this? if so what size do i need, and what is a good brand to get? also do svt owners get a voltage guage on the dash, and where is the freakin oil press guage? man i miss my mustang

Get at least a 1 farad cap and consider a 2 farad. the 2 farad will be going a little overboard, but will allow for future upgrades.

I only have a 250 2 ch running mono and my DAMN lights were doing a lil fading I installed a 1 farad Cap and its 100% better. those things are cake to instal just BE VERY CAREFUL! You can shock the sh!t outta yerself and blow yer amps! But if you do it carefully and make sure to watch the power wires since the caps have I think 12 Volts of juice in them already. Correct me if Im wrong!

Definitly hook a 1 farad cap up. Just follow the directions, and use the supplied resistor to charge the cap before hooking it straight up to the power system.
