I am haveing a tough time finding a bike rack for the Tour. I would get a trunk mount, but I have a "Y" frame bike and I need to haul it on the wheels. Does anyone know a good way to do this?

i just dump my endless in the back next to my sub...had to take off the front wheel tho. best bet for any frame other than a hardtail or normal front triangle bike would be a roof rack (yakima is the best there)

The guy who owned my car before me had a roof setup to haul his bike around. So those do exist.

hardtails are the way to go, and a hitch mount rack would work if you got a tow hitch, you can get a 2-4 bike rack that holds onto the wheels

Iv'e heard that the roof top mount bike racks (which do look pretty cool if you get the front plastic wind deflector thing) fo the mondeo work on our cars. Go to Ebay's Germany or UK site... you can get entire set up for the mondeo car (not wagon) for like 30-50 bucks. I almost bought one because they look pretty cool... but I dont have a bike.

I have a Yakima rack for my SVT. it wasn't $30 though!! more like over $400 total cost with two bike racks, a basketcase, front wheel holders and the air dam.
