i installed my new Sany head unit from my previus car. I ran into a prob when i tried to bypass the factory amp, me being as lazy as i am i went to bestbuy to get the amp bypass kit, which didn't fit, so i was wondering if anybody had the wiring colors to do the bypass, thanks

I am currently waiting for my amp bypass cable to show up -- the Scosche FD-15 -- hope it works, it is the only one that I saw that looks like will fit the connectors on my 2000 SVT.

I just finished insalling a new HU and speakers in my 99 svt. Wound up cutting the wires to the connector at the amp and running speaker wires to the HU. If you replace the speakers,(you really should, the factory jobs are PLASTIC) you can get the color codes off the connectors. I highly recommend putting foam baffles (from Crutchfield) behind the speakers. They cut out an amazing amount of road noise and reduce bass rattle. Crutchfield also supplies speaker wiring adapters.
